Emlyx Plugin Overview

The Emlyx plugin connects your WordPress site to your Emlyx account so that every email your site sends — password resets, order confirmations, contact form replies, and more — is delivered reliably to your recipients' inboxes.

Once the plugin is installed and connected, there is nothing else you need to do. The plugin routes your WordPress emails through Emlyx automatically in the background.

What the Plugin Does

Without a dedicated sending service, WordPress often struggles to deliver emails. Messages end up in spam folders, get silently dropped, or simply never arrive. Emlyx solves this by taking over email sending entirely and routing every message through a trusted delivery infrastructure.

Here is what you get out of the box:

Reliable email delivery Every email your WordPress site generates is sent through Emlyx rather than your web server. This dramatically improves the chance that emails land in the inbox rather than the spam folder.

Email log in your WordPress admin A log of every email your site has attempted to send is available directly inside your WordPress dashboard, under Emlyx > Email Log. You can see at a glance whether each message was delivered, is still on its way, was rejected, or failed — without logging into any external tool.

Open and click tracking Emlyx can tell you when a recipient opens an email or clicks a link inside it. Tracking is optional and can be switched on or off in the plugin settings.

Sender prefix You can add a short label to the beginning of your outgoing email subject lines to help recipients immediately recognise which site the message came from. This is especially useful if you manage multiple sites or send different types of email from the same address.

Test email tool Before relying on Emlyx for real emails, you can send a test message directly from the plugin settings page to confirm that everything is connected and working correctly.

What You Do Not Need to Worry About

You do not need to change anything about your WordPress theme or the plugins already installed on your site. Emlyx works with whatever emails your site already sends, with no extra configuration required on your end.

Already using a different email plugin?

If you have another plugin installed that handles email sending — such as WP Mail SMTP, Post SMTP, or something similar — you should deactivate it before using Emlyx. Running two email plugins at the same time can cause conflicts. See the Troubleshooting page for more help.
